"I Love Thee" first appeared in a volume of 137 songs and hymns titled Christian Harmony, compiled by Jeremiah Ingalls and first published in 1805. This lively hymn is now included in many hymnals from various Christian denominations. This arrangement for clarinet choir, though only two minutes in length, features the tune presented in three different styles.
