A lyrical and playful work in three movements (Allegro maestoso; Adagio; Allegro) which uses a variety of modes to capture many different moods. This sonata was premiered in 2013 in Fairfax, Virginia by the composer, Lawrence Ink, flute, and clarinetist Wendi Hatton.
