This set of trio d'anches arrangements derives from the organ works of the circle of composers around Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750). Johann Gottfried Walther (1684–1748) was J.S. Bach's cousin, as well as author of the Musicalisches Lexicon of 1732, the first German-language dictionary of music and musicians. Johann Ludwig Krebs (1713–1780) and Gottfried August Homilius (1714–1785) were J.S. Bach's students. Each has been skillfully arranged for Trio d'Anches (Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon) by Darlene Franz.
