Recognized as the Honorable Mention composition by the New Music Committee of the International Clarinet Association as part of the 2022 Composition Competition .From the composer: "2020 was a year of colossal uncertainty and instability in nearly every facet of our day-to-day lives. But that uncertainty hit performing artists the hardest because it effectively shut down our professional lives entirely. As the year went on, I quickly found that I had to cope in a creative way with all the strange and powerful emotions that each new uncertainty brought. And this piece, Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra, was the result of such mental self-care." In five movements: Everything Changes, Isolation, Outrage at 45, In Memoriam, and The Endless Anxiety.
