Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Trio for Piano, Clarinet, and Viola in E-flat major, K. 498. Mozart's Trio for Piano, Clarinet, and Viola, K. 498, the so-called "Kegelstatt Trio," was originally intended for musical entertainment at the home of Mozart's friend Gottfried von Jacquin, where Anton Stadler played the clarinet, Mozart the viola, and Jacquin's daughter Franziska the piano part. The trio is a chamber music work of the highest caliber, masterfully crafted in its equal treatment of the three instruments and its unobtrusive, delicate contrapuntal structure. The edition also includes a violin part as an alternative to the clarinet. In three movements: Andante, Menuetto, and Rondeaux - Allegretto. Parts and Score included.
