Eric Mandat - Ignorance and Blitz for Clarinet Quintet. Commissioned by Buffet Crampon USA for the Buffet Summer Academy faculty (Mark Nuccio, Victoria Luperi, Pascual Martinez Forteza, J. Lawrie Bloom, André Moisan). Two contrasting movements: the dark antagonistic energy of willful ignorance, and a swift kick in the pants to send broody moodiness packing. Score and parts included.
