From the composer: "I wrote The Acceptance of Sand during my time in Mérida, Mexico, with little to no idea of how long I would be staying and how the months ahead would unfold. While I was eager to immerse myself in new experiences and explore the country’s stunning landscapes, a part of me clung to the life I had left behind. And so, this piece reflects my journey of learning to embrace and adapt to my new life and surroundings."
