Brotons - Clarinet quartet Concertino, Op. 145 for Clarinet Quartet and Piano

Salvador Brotons - Clarinet quartet Concertino, Op. 145 for Clarinet Quartet and Piano. Clarinet quartet Concertino was commissioned by the Barcelona Clarinet Players. The result is this Concertino in a single movement, in four parts (Lento – Allegro – Adagio – Allegro) without interruption, where the themes are interchanged. Originally the work was written for soloists and piano. Later it was instrumentated for orchestra and then symphonic band. The Basset Horn part can be replaced by a second Bb clarinet.
